Victoria reveals 2008’s biggest water using towns


Victoria’s northern town of Mildura is the state’s biggest per capita water user, with average consumption last year of 348L per person per day, while Kilmore and Ballarat were the lowest with an average of 140L and 143L per person per day respectively. The figures for 2008 were released by State Water Minister Tim Holding last week.
