Large-scale recycled water projects too costly: Victoria

The Victorian Government will focus on localised recycled water projects after a business case analysis found two large-scale projects would have cost up to $3.8 billion, adding substantially to Melbourne households’ water bills. Meanwhile prices will increase from tomorrow after the Essential Services Commission handed down its 4-year pricing decision.
