Environment Minister Peter Garrett has announced two important schemes at Enviro 2010. The first is the FluoroCycle scheme, which is aimed at boosting recovery of compact fluorescent lamps (CFL)nationwide. Secondly, Garrett launched the 6th edition of the Biohazard Waste Industry’s Code of Practice which is used in Australia and New Zealand.
