Things are expected to heat up in the climate change debate, literally, following the release of a joint study by the CSIRO and Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) which indicates Australians should prepare for more extremely hot days, fewer cold ones, wetter days in the north and drier in the south as a consequence of climate change.
